Pokémon Mezastar Carnival Brings Families Together at United Square

The Pokémon Mezastar Carnival took place on 21 to 22 March 2026 at United Square, bringing together families, children, and Pokémon fans for a weekend filled with play, interaction, and shared experiences. Over the weekends, the United Square Main Atrium was transformed into a lively and colourful space. From the moment visitors stepped in, there was a great sense of excitement, from children gathering around the machines, parents watching closely, to groups of friends cheering one another on during tournaments. There were even first-time players joining in and being part of the experience.

HER Voice

Visitors had the opportunity to explore Pokémon Mezastar through hands-on gameplay, while also taking part in carnival-style games and interactive activity zones. Many were seen collecting Meza Tags, trying out different battle strategies, and learning from one another along the way. The setup made the experience simple and accessible, allowing both beginners and experienced players to enjoy the game together.

What stood out most was how the event brought different generations together. Children were excited to discover Pokémon Mezastar, while parents joined in, guiding, learning, and sometimes even competing alongside them. For some, it was a nostalgic moment, as we witnessed families connecting with a game that parents grew up with, and now experienced in a new way with their children.

Event Highlights
The highlight of the weekend was the Mezastar Ultimate Challenge Finals on 22 March. Top players from each category came together to compete, showcasing their skills in front of a live audience. The atmosphere during the finals was filled with anticipation and excitement, as spectators watched closely and cheered for their favourites. It was a moment that brought the community together, not just as players, but as supporters of one another.

The carnival also marked one year of Pokémon Mezastar in Singapore, celebrating its growth to over 80 locations across the island. Over the past year, a strong and active community has formed, and the event reflected how much the game has become part of many families’ everyday experiences. Beyond the gameplay and activities, the event created space for connection. Families spent time together, friends bonded over shared interests, and new connections were formed among players. It was not just about winning or collecting, but about being present, having fun, and creating memories together!

We look forward to the next Pokémon Mezastar Carnival!
